VIA is the third largest institution of higher education in Denmark and has

  • 39 addresses in the region

VIA has five main faculties:

  • Faculty of Education and Social Studies
  • Faculty of Health Sciences
  • School of Technology and Business
  • School of Continuous and Further Education
  • Faculty of Design, Animation, Media and Business


VIA’s overall focus is to provide education to students who will graduate as professional bachelors in the fields of technology & business, education & social studies, health sciences, and media, arts, and design. In addition, VIA University College also offers a wide variety of postgraduate courses to professionals, for instance nurses, engineers, and teachers. These activities are implemented through the development of interdisciplinary study environments where students cooperate with both private and public companies as well as institutions all over the world. In VIAs professional Bachelor degree programmes, there is a focus on learning how to combine theory and practice
